Todd Speer, the man behind Fitness 360, has made his business the premier personal training studio in San Joaquin County by making it Personal and an extension of his daily life. A healthy lifestyle, attention to detail and an overall passion for what he does has helped make his brainchild the success it is today. Fitness 360 started four years ago. Since then Todd has brought on additional trainers and upgraded his facilities into its sparkling new Lincoln Center location. From his college rugby days to weight training and now a passion for hiking and a “360” Fitness Lifestyle, Todd is his own best client; someone who not only lives and breathes what he does – but loves it too!
Todd’s Vision and how Fitness 360 came about
I’ve always been into fitness. I played sports throughout high school and college; track, football and wrestling and then rugby at Kansas State. Back in the day it was all about bodybuilding and getting powerful. I moved to California working with In-Shape and after a brief sabbatical returned as a gym manager and trainer. With experience, I gained confidence in my training ability and recognized that the key to my clients reaching their goals was one-on-one and small personalized group sessions where I could coach and motivate them individually. The additional personal attention costs the client a little more, but the faster and improved results are worth the small extra price to them. My client’s successes made me all the more determined to open a Private Studio based on what I had learned and on individual personalized client attention!
Stockton businessman, Pat Bennett was a successful client of mine and believed in my vision and training philosophy. With his help, my dream became a reality and we opened our first Fitness 360 Studio in December 2006. It was located in an attic in North Stockton’s Serventi Center; it was a modest beginning but all we could afford at the time; it reflected our pride and determination to be successful. We grew quickly and before I knew it, we needed more space to better serve our clients. In April 2008, we moved to our current Lincoln Center Studio. Not only did we increase our space 50% but we added shower facilities and many other amenities dedicated to our clients comfort, convenience and most importantly to their success.
What are your areas of expertise?
Most of my clients are successful women and men who understand the role health and exercise plays in their daily lives. So, that is my first passion and primary focus. We really don’t do bodybuilding in the traditional sense – were about total body health through personalized training, diet, nutrition and discipline…e.g. Fitness 360 (degrees); Whole body and healthy for life!I really get a charge out of working with and training young athletes. Their attitudes are always so good and they have the drive and desire to get better. Not that my adult clients don’t, but the youngsters are always so enthusiastic and filled with the optimism of youth… they make me feel younger.

What commitment are you willing to make to get the results you need/desire?
This process is imperative to developing a program customized to your individual/personal goals and capacity. It may be the most important thing we will do together. Once we start your training program, I’m going to take you to your limits but at a pace you can manage and is safe for your current health and physical conditioning. I want my clients to have a hard workout to get results; but, they also must have a positive experience to stay motivated until they reach their desired results.It’s my job to give you the tools, advice, accountability/positive reinforcement, programs, personal attention so you can achieve your goal. It’s your job to commit to your program, stay focused and maintain the initiative to achieve your goals.
